Chianti villa to hire - La Riserva is a charming, restored 16th century Tuscan farmhouse located in the Chianti Classico region of Italy on its own wine estate. The estate itself comprises well kept vineyards, olive groves and is surrounded by woodland ideal for relaxing walks. There is also the possibility to visit the estate centre and its cellars to taste and purchase various brands of the estates fine wines and extra-virgin olive oil.

From this Chianti villa are various day trips which include Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca or San Gimignano all approximately an hours drive; a country road passes by the property. The pretty village of Greve in Chianti is enticingly just five minutes drive for restaurants, grocers, wine bars and delicatessen, as well as a charming Saturday market.

The property itself is of a high standard with a sunset facing swimming pool, a gazebo for shade and relaxation with table, chairs, sun deck and deck chairs, all with panoramic views extending to the Appennines on a clear day. The surrounding gardens were designed and planted in 2003 and are a combination of Mediterranean aromatic essences and mature olive trees.
